What they do
NDRC-approved (Jul 2023), built from Jul 2024, and in trial operation from Dec 2025 in Guangming Science City. Led by SIAT/CAS and operated by Shenzhen Biomanufacturing Industry Innovation Center Co. (reg. capital ~RMB 700M; among 34 co-builders: SDIC, China Merchants, Shum Yip, Bloomage, Guangxin, Huaheng, Leo-King). It runs six platforms — automated biomanufacturing, cross-scale validation, high-throughput process development, pilot scale-up and GMP, large-scale carrier prep and QC, and bio-information computing — across green/low-carbon, bio-agriculture and health.
The associated Yinxing/Xinmei park hosts biomaterials, biological-food, bioreagent and cosmetics tenants for proof-of-concept to pilot-scale work.
Why it matters
Bullseye for the pilot-fermentation priority and strong on AI-in-biotech (automation plus bio-information computing). Bio-agriculture is one of three official fields, aligning directly with Pure Advance's AI-accelerated microbial biocontrols.
As a government/CAS-backed national platform it is a gateway rather than a single vendor: one introduction can route Pure Advance to shared pilot/GMP infrastructure (the '1→10' scale-up gap biocontrols must clear) plus relevant tenant companies in one Guangming visit. The same capacity could also serve a biologically produced Coolvex ingredient.
